Youngest President of the Los Angeles Dental Society

On October 29th, 2016, the Los Angeles Dental Society installed the youngest president in the 81-year history. Dr. Michele Frawley is a graduate of both Loyola Marymount University and UCLA and comes from a family dedicated to Dentistry. At her installation, her father Dr. Kevin Frawley presented her with the distinct honor. Dr Kevin Frawley is also a graduate of UCLA class of 1982 and was the president of LADS in 2003. Aside from being the youngest president of LADS, Dr. Michele Frawley and Dr. Kevin Frawley are the first father and daughter duo in the Los Angeles Dental Society history.

Currently Drs. Frawley practice at Beverly Hills Dentistry. The family practice consists of Dr. Kevin Frawley, Dr. Michele Frawley and brother Dr. Shawn Frawley. Beverly Hills Dentistry was established in the early 80s and has since become a Top Family and Cosmetic Dentistry serving the greater Beverly Hills community. Beverly Hills Dentistry has a long history of community involvement and is characterized by generations of patients and dedicated fans online. The Frawley family also involved in many local and national associations including the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. Dr. Michele Frawley is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Michele was also a Clinical Professor of Dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry training students in technical and patient interactions. Dr. Shawn Frawly attended Loyola Marymount University and the University of the Pacific graduating in 2008. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Los Angeles Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Under this strong leadership and community, the Los Angeles Dental Society expects to maintain and expand it’s status as the premier dental association for Southern California. Dr. Michelle Frawley will focus on expanding membership while maintaining it’s core foundation to provide dentists with resources and information to provide excellent patient care. 2017 looks to be an exciting year with a renewed sense of energy and a recommitment to showcasing the world class dental community in Los Angeles and Southern California.
