Have You Been Told You Need All-on-4 or All-on-X?
Not every patient who has been advised to pursue full-arch rehabilitation actually requires it. At Beverly Hills Dentistry, one of the first things Dr. Kevin Frawley assesses is whether full-arch replacement is truly the most appropriate path—or whether preserving your existing healthy teeth is the better, longer-lasting choice.
Many patients come to us after being told they need All-on-4 or All-on-X by another provider. In a number of those cases, we find several structurally sound teeth that are worth preserving. Extracting healthy dentition simply because it streamlines the process is not something Dr. Frawley is willing to do. Every case is evaluated on its own merits, and every recommendation we make is one we stand behind clinically.
If you are a candidate for full-arch rehabilitation, Dr. Frawley will tell you clearly why—and walk you through exactly what that treatment will involve. If you are not, he will tell you that too.
THE EASY WAY
Aggressive Bone Removal
Some providers take the fastest route to All-on-X: removing as much bone as necessary to simplify placement. This approach is quicker to execute, but it leaves the patient with less structural foundation than they started with. Less bone means fewer future options—and a more complicated path if implants ever need revision or replacement.
Patients who undergo aggressive bone removal may not feel the impact immediately. But over time, the consequences of compromised bone volume become significant.
DR. FRAWLEY’S APPROACH
Maximum Bone Preservation
Dr. Frawley was trained in and nationally teaches atraumatic extraction, socket preservation, ridge preservation, and advanced bone grafting—precisely because preserving your bone is not just a preference, it is a clinical responsibility.
When full-arch rehabilitation is the right choice, Dr. Frawley approaches surgery with the goal of retaining as much bone volume as possible. This protects the long-term stability of your implants, maintains your facial structure, and preserves your options for the future. It takes more skill and more time. That is exactly the point.
SURGICAL FOUNDATION
Why the Surgery Behind the Implant Matters as Much as the Implant Itself
Full-arch rehabilitation is among the most surgically demanding procedures in implant dentistry. The success of your All-on-4 or All-on-X outcome depends not just on the implants themselves, but on the precision and care applied during every phase of surgery—particularly tooth removal and site preparation.
Dr. Frawley is a Clinical Instructor in atraumatic extraction and socket preservation—a specialization he has taught to dentists across the country through Surgical Esthetics, the company he founded. This means the techniques he applies in your surgery are the same ones he teaches as best practice to the broader profession.
Socket preservation is not a standard step for every provider performing All-on-X. For Dr. Frawley, it is the foundation of every surgical plan.

A SPECIALIST WHO COMBINES BOTH SURGICAL AND AESTHETIC PRECISION TO RESTORE MULTIPLE MISSING TEETH
Many doctors perform the All-on-4, All-on-6, or All-on-X dental implant process, but finding a specialist who possesses both the surgical and aesthetic expertise to deliver a personalized, innovative experience is a rare combination. While numerous practices focus solely on the functional aspect of these implants, they often overlook the importance of aesthetics. As a result, patients may receive functional replacement teeth that unfortunately fall short of their aesthetic goals.
At Beverly Hills Dentistry, we understand that the end goal of any dental procedure is not just a successful surgical outcome but also a lasting, impressionable aesthetic result. This guiding principle shapes our entire approach to the All-on-4 / All-on-6 / All-on-X process, ensuring that our patients not only regain the functionality of their teeth but also achieve a beautiful, natural-looking smile.

Your Smile can Make this Transformation in One Day
The All-On-X Process: A New Smile in Just a Few Steps
At your in-person consultation, we will take a CBCT scan, a facial scan, and an intraoral digital impression of your teeth. These detailed records allow us to develop a customized treatment plan. Once your plan is finalized, we can typically schedule your surgery within two weeks.
On the day of surgery, you will receive sedation medication to keep you relaxed and comfortable. We will thoroughly numb the treatment areas before proceeding. If you have any remaining teeth, we will carefully remove them and clean out any infection. Using the treatment plan we designed in advance, we will strategically place your dental implants to ensure optimal support for your new teeth. Once the implants are placed, we will take records to fabricate your temporary teeth, which will be delivered the next day.
Your temporary teeth serve as a prototype—this allows us to fine-tune your bite, function, and aesthetics. After 4 to 6 months of healing, we proceed with the fabrication of your final zirconia teeth, ensuring a long-lasting, natural-looking smile. Because we’ve meticulously refined your temporary teeth, your final set will be custom-designed for the perfect fit and function.
Please note: In some cases, due to financial considerations, some patients may opt to stay with the temporary teeth for an extended period before transitioning to the final restoration.

Frequently Asked Questions
All-on-4 / All-on-X / Full Mouth Dental Implants
What is the difference between All-on-4 and All-on-X?
All-on-4 refers to a full arch of teeth supported by four strategically placed implants. All-on-X is a broader term used when additional implants—typically five or six—are placed to provide greater stability or to address specific bone conditions. Dr. Frawley will determine the appropriate number of implants based on the quality and volume of bone available in your specific case.
Am I a candidate for All-on-4 or All-on-X?
Candidacy depends on several factors including bone density, overall health, and whether any remaining teeth can or should be preserved. Many patients who come to us have been told by another provider that they need full-arch replacement. In some cases that is accurate; in others, we find that preservation of existing teeth is the better option. A thorough clinical evaluation with Dr. Frawley is the only way to know with certainty.
How long does the procedure take?
The surgical phase of All-on-4 or All-on-X typically takes three to five hours depending on the complexity of the case and whether extractions and grafting are performed. At Beverly Hills Dentistry, we do not rush the surgical phase. Dr. Frawley takes the time required to do the procedure correctly, including socket preservation and bone grafting where indicated.
What is the recovery like?
Most patients experience some swelling and discomfort for the first week following surgery. A temporary prosthesis is typically placed on the same day as the implants. Final restoration is completed after the implants have fully integrated with the bone, which generally takes three to six months. Dr. Frawley provides detailed post-operative guidance to support a smooth recovery.
What is socket preservation and why does it matter?
Socket preservation is a procedure performed at the time of tooth extraction to maintain bone volume at the extraction site. Without it, the bone naturally resorbs over time, which can compromise the long-term stability of dental implants. Dr. Frawley is a Clinical Instructor in socket preservation and applies these techniques as a standard part of his surgical approach—not an optional add-on.
How much does All-on-4 cost in Beverly Hills?
Full-arch rehabilitation at Beverly Hills Dentistry starts at $15,000 per arch. The final cost will depend on the extent of surgery required, the prosthetic materials selected, and any preparatory treatment such as bone grafting. Financing is available through Proceed Finance. We encourage patients to schedule a consultation so we can provide an accurate treatment plan and cost estimate specific to their case.
Do you offer financing for All-on-4 or All-on-X?
Yes. Beverly Hills Dentistry offers flexible financing through Proceed Finance, with options that include extended terms and low monthly payments. Many patients are pre-approved before they even walk through the door. We recommend applying early so that financing is in place when you are ready to move forward with treatment.
